Dog of the Week - WHIZ News

WHIZ News Dog of the Week MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is naming Maddie as its dog of the week.  Maddie is a very playful and loving dog who’s a fan favorite amongst the warden volunteers. She’s captured their hearts in her short time there.  “She came to us on February ninth, she’s approximately two years old. The good thing is that she came to us already spayed, so that’s good for us, she can be adopted right away. She’s a humane case, seized by the humane officer, I think it was a court case. So there’s no hold period on her either so she can be adopted right away. She’s very friendly, she appears to be friendly with other dogs.”, warden representative Bryan Catlin told WHIZ.

Are you ready to take a Journey?

WHIZ News Are you ready to take a Journey? The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center hasn’t stopped “believin” that its dog of the week can find a forever home. We first introduced you to Journey back in October. He’s a 2-year- old, American Bull Dog breed who is very energetic. ” He is very playful, very obedient, he is I think hearing impaired to a certain extent. He can hear me but I have a stronger, deeper voice but I think there is sometimes where he doesn’t hear as well as some of our other dogs” said Dog Warden representative Bryan Catlin.

Dog Of The Week - WHIZ News

WHIZ News Dog Of The Week MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is naming Shadow as its dog of the week.  Shadow has been with the center since January 5th. He gets along spectacularly with other dogs according to center volunteers.  “He seems like he’s fairly mellow, he does well on a leash. Does seem to pull a bit but if you tug back a little bit he does mind so he does have a little bit of discipline. The good thing is that he does seem like he’s been somewhat worked with. He seems like he takes treats well so he’s not like a dog that’ll be biting you or trying to take them out of your hands really fast.”, Warden representative Bryan Catlin told WHIZ.
