That started a scary chain of events that left a dozen people hurt including a jersey city Police Officer who was struck by that silver car while standing on the sidewalk. Hes in Critical Condition and severely injured in this accident last night. Reporter cars and minivans scattered across the street with debris. They described the accident a scattered collision. He hit another car. That car hit another car. Reporter around 8 00 sunday night, investigators say the driver of the van was speeding down myrtle avenue in jersey city when it hit the silver car. Police say the van spun out of control and pushed the car into a driveway. The car striking and critically injuring a Jersey City Police officer that was standing on the sidewalk.
