Man with epilepsy remains in home two months after eviction notice

Georgia May Gilbertson/Stuff Bronny Edwards says the news of eviction caused a great deal of stress for both her and her son. Kāinga Ora regional director east North Island Naomi Whitewood said the property was affected to the point of Kāinga Ora deeming it as unsafe to live in. “Our own geotech report recommended the house remained unoccupied until several conditions were met,” she said. Edwards, who asked that her son not be named for health reasons, said the news of eviction caused a “great deal of stress for them both”, resulting in her son having several seizures.
