Fresh on the heels of a storm system that brought rain to Northern California to kick off the week, a second, stronger storm is swirling toward the region, keeping periods of heavy rain in the forecast for much of the week and threatening flash flooding.
The FOX Forecast Center is tracking a powerful pre-holiday storm that will impact millions in at least 20 states as it slides up the East Coast this weekend.
The storm is set to bring up to six inches of rain to Florida, while major cities such as Washington D.C., New York, and Boston could see rainfall ranging from two to four inches.
