AROUND 100 volunteers, from children to pensioners, rolled up their sleeves to help clean up the streets of Bridport in the sun. The From Street to Sea litter pick took place on Sunday, May 30 with residents and visitors alike doing their part to clean up the streets, rivers and beaches of Bridport. The event was an initiative created by Mayor of Bridport, councillor Ian Bark, with an aim of tackling the litter that has accumulated across town. In the build up to the event Cllr Bark has been recruiting residents to become Bridport Litter Free Champions - with the aim of achieving coverage for every street in town.
