May have started with a fight between two people. Theyre interviewing other shelter residents in the hopes of finding the killer. A murder in a crowded homeless shelter. Workers found a open. People look for any supplies or phones. Reporter police still dont know who killed the man. They believe there may have been a dispute inside one of the bedrooms. The room appears to be in disarray as if a struggle ensued. Ems responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene. Reporter theres been increased concern over violence at homeless shelters. Two felonies were committed at this shelter so far this year. Theyre already upgrading security. This is exactly why we are working with the Police Department.
