Last night, the Capitol Area Fugitive Task force tracked wint to this hotel in college park. As the task force was preparing to move in wint and several women got into this white car. Police followed the car into the district, using as many as 20 Law Enforcement cars as well as a helicopter. Then police moved in on the white car and the box truck it was following. Wint surrendered without any resistance. Sources say he was not carrying a gun. A large amount of cash was found inside that truck. The door was open to the box truck, and i saw a wad of cash in the side compartment of the door. Reporter wint is charged with first degree murder. He made his first court aappearance this afternoon. Mr. Wint is now incarcerated and held without bond, but our work is not done. We will continue to investigate this case and bring all charges that are appropriate in the coming weeks.
