Low clouds and fog had give way to sunshine. Winds out of the northwest 40s, 50s on the temps. Mill valley, 51. Breeze, a teeny bit. Nothing outrage just. After that fog burns off, it will be sooner today. Some sunshine and warmer temps. The trend will continue for a couple of days. 60s, 70s. Upper 70s, low 80s in lands. Where to you want to start, sal . We start in oakland with the end of a police chase that hit speeds of 100 Miles Per Hour on the freeway, ended up near 47th and foothill near Fremont High School. We have word that Fremont High School is not affected by this but Dublin Police showed up which lead to a fairly well, that means that they are involved somehow. This chase was coming through castro valley. It may have started in dublin with some sort of incident just because we see Dublin Police but what we do know for sure is that several people were arrested at the scene as they came off the free way, ended up crashing their car and running away. The other family members who are staying inside that unit, two adults and a fouryearold child all managed to escape the apartment but they could not get back inside to get the baby. Until the infant is less than oneyearold. The fire started about 11 30 pm and quickly spread through the complex. It was a three alarm fire, quite a few extra engines were called in to help put out flames. I talked with a nextdoor neighbor who told me the babys family made it out of the Apartment Unit but they just could not get back inside because there was a wall of flames right at the door in that neighbor tells me this is a devastating situation. One of the police were talking on the door really hard and my family didnt know it was going on. I woke up in the night and i saw flames so i got out of the house with my family. Units attempted to make a rescue but the apartment was not considered tenable. Reporter the fire was so big it took crews almost 2 hours to knock down the flames. A total of four units

So, as you head out the door, make sure youre wearing some long sleeves and well be taking it off today as our highs warm up to 67 degrees in the south bay and the peninsula. 63 in the east bay and San Francisco.
