Raiders GM Mike Mayock Shouldn t Denounce Players For His Mistakes

Mike Mayock s short tenure as Las Vegas Raiders general manager has been fraught with questionable draft decisions and disappointing trades. For whatever reason, Mayock, who is obviously the man at the center of those decisions, just decided to put a spotlight on one of his miscues.
On the Raiders official website (I repeat: ON THE RAIDERS OFFICIAL WEBSITE) Mayock called out the Raiders 2020 rookie class, saying, I was disappointed in the productivity of our rookies, I ll be the first person to admit that. Mayock specifically called out Vegas first-round pick Henry Ruggs, saying, We knew how fast he is, but he has to get stronger, and he has to get in and out of his breaks better.
Refs Blow Two Obvious Calls Just Before Halftime of Packers-Bucs Game

The refs were doing a pretty good job staying out of the fray during Sunday s NFC Championship Game until the very end of the first half. Before halftime, officials blew two calls, the second of which completely changed the game.
The first missed call was a false start by Packers left tackle Billy Turner. The Packers converted a first down on the play. But it was nothing compared to what was to come.
Two plays after that missed call, Sean Murphy-Bunting intercepted Aaron Rodgers, which eventually led to a touchdown for the Bucs that gave them a 21-10 lead heading into the break. The only issue was Murphy-Bunting should have been called for pass interference on Allan Lazard, which would have negated the interception and given the Packers a first down on the Bucs side of the field.
Terry Bradshaw Makes Insane Statement About Josh Allen s Arm

Terry Bradshaw has, periodically, placed his foot in his mouth. Well, the old friends got reacquainted ahead of the NFC Championship Game.
Early in FOX s pregame show ahead of the Packers-Bucs game, Bradshaw made a bold, or shall we call it insane, proclamation, saying, There isn t a better arm in the NFL than Josh Allen. The only thing that came to mind when hearing this was this Swaggy P meme.
Unsure if Terry has been watching much NFL this year, assuming he has, but I think presumptive MVP Aaron Rodgers might have something to say in the best arm debate. And how about Allen s counterpart in the AFC Championship Game, Patrick Mahomes. Maybe the former NFL MVP and reigning Super Bowl MVP might have a claim to best arm too? Deshaun Watson, who led the NFL in passing yards with a mediocre team around him, also has a claim to that title.
Aaron Rodgers Traditionally Stinks in the NFC Championship Game

Aaron Rodgers place in the NFL quarterback pantheon is secured no matter what happens the rest of his career. A two-going-on-three-time MVP and Super Bowl champion, there s little debate against him being among the 10 best slingers of the pigskin in football history.
However, there is one glaring blemish on his resume that s currently impossible to ignore. The man has absolutely sucked in NFC Championship games throughout his career. Even the year the Packers made the Super Bowl with Rodgers, it was because his counterparts on the Bears sucked worse. Not because Rodgers pulled a trick using his magical hands.
