Rick Ross Offers Tom Brady a Suggestion on Gift for Ryan Jensen

There might not be a bigger Ryan Jensen fan in America than rapper Rick Ross. At a minimum, I don t see anyone else telling Tom Brady to lavish his center with a $75,000 gift for all the grunt work Jensen puts in for the Bucs.
Ross was watching Tampa Bay s win over the Saints in the Divisional Round of the playoffs yesterday and went out of his way to praise Jensen, the Bucs fiery snapper known for his long, curly red hair. Ross tagged and discussed Jensen s blocking on Instagram and also suggested Brady should buy Jensen the new Cadillac Escalade as a thank you for Jensen s efforts in the trenches.

Ahead of the Chiefs game against the Browns this week, a lot of people have been discussing the time Patrick Mahomes and Baker Mayfield combined for over 1,700 yards of offense and 125 total points when they squared off in college in 2016. Fewer people are discussing Tom Brady and Drew Brees college showdown in 1999, but the two elder statesmen of the NFL did indeed have a classic Big Ten showdown, which Brady dominated.

Comparing Lamar Jackson to Mike Vick has always been a lazy man s endeavor. You see Jackson zigging and zagging through a defense at breakneck speed and the side of your brain that tells you it s ok to take a second nap on a weekday kicks in, immediately conjuring up the highlight of Vick doing the same thing in overtime against the Vikings all those years ago.
That s inattentive thinking. Jackson is a vastly different player than Vick, starting with the fact that he s a righty and Vick is a lefty and ending with the statistical reality that Jackson is more accurate, less turnover-prone, and throws touchdowns at a far higher rate than his run-first predecessor.
Steve Smith Criticizes Ravens Elementary School Offense and Calls for Greg Roman to be Fired

While some pundits are calling for Greg Roman to get a head coaching interview, Steve Smith is calling for the Ravens offensive coordinator to be fired.
After the Ravens were held to 3 points in their Divisional-round playoff loss to the Bills last night, Smith pointed the finger squarely at Roman. Calling the Ravens route combinations elementary school, Smith said Roman needs to start looking for a job somewhere else. He added that for quarterback Lamar Jackson to take the next step in his progression he needs a new offensive coordinator.
The Houston Texans Are Falling Apart

Houston, we have a problem. Actually, better make that several problems. In fact, the whole system is imploding and it doesn t look like we ll have many survivors.
Currently, the Houston Texans are unraveling at the seams with Adam Schefter dropping two bombshell reports 12 minutes apart that signal a franchise in complete disarray with no rudder to right its trajectory. More succinctly, it doesn t look like there s a man, woman or child who wants to grab the rudder at all.
One league source connected to the Texans HC situation said Saturday: It s gone from the least desirable head coaching job (opening) to the most undesirable head coaching job in the NFL. That s a fact. That s how that job is now looked at by everybody. Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) January 17, 2021
