New Board of Directors installed at Tigris Shrine in Syracuse

The elected officers for 2021 are as follows: â Potentate (President) â Ill. Sir Duane Crapser, Oswego. Crapser is a life-long resident of Oswego, and is an Licensed Practical Nurse at Oswego Health Home Care. Crapser has been a Shriner for five years. His Masonic career has also included four years as Master of Mexico Lodge -136, Mexico, and as the current Master of Hiram Lodge -136, Fulton. This will be his and his wifeâs, Suzanne Crapser, second year serving the Nobles of Tigris Shrine. â Chief Rabban â James Santy, Constantia. Santy is originally from Syracuse, and is a truck driver for Cintas. He has been serving Tigris Shrine for six years. Santyâs Masonic career includes being a member of Syracuse-Liverpool 501 and serving as chair of the annual Easter egg hunt and breakfast with Santa. He has always wanted to be a Shriner since his mother introduced him to the Nobles of Tigris at the Shrine Circus when he was a youth. His wife, Karen Yonkers-Sa

College wrestling: N C State wins third consecutive ACC team title with five champs

N.C. State takes home the conference title Led by ACC champions Tariq Wilson, Hayden Hidlay, Daniel Bullard, Trent Hidlay, and Deonte Wilson, the N.C. State Wolfpack won their third consecutive ACC title. The Wolfpack came into the tournament as the No. 2 team in the conference after dropping a dual earlier in the year on criteria to the Virginia Tech Hokies, but Sunday night was all about the Pack. The Hidlay brothers headlined the success of the team, with Hayden winning his fourth conference title in as many years and the younger Hidlay, Trent, winning his first title in sudden victory. Both will aim to carry this success into the 2021 NCAA tournament and chase their first national titles.

O Connor wins second straight title as UNC wrestling takes third at ACC Championship

The No. 14 North Carolina wrestling team finished third in the ACC Wrestling Championship at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh on Sunday. The best performance came from redshirt junior Austin O'Connor, who won his second consecutive ACC title at 149 pounds.
