Publicis Groupe names new chief creative officer for APAC Details 28 January 2021
Publicis Groupe has appointed Natalie Lam as its chief creative officer for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. In this newly-created role, Lam (pictured) will be leading Publicis Groupe s agenda across Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa when it comes to creativity, with an oversight over the creative product. She will also be managing and activating the creative community across the region. Lam will focus on driving impact for clients through disruptive, dynamic creative offering , the agency said. She will be based across Singapore and Hong Kong, reporting to Loris Nold, CEO Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Publicis Groupe.

Publicis Groupe has named Sony Nichani CEO for Publicis Groupe Indonesia replacing Brian Capel (pictured left). She reports to Loris Nold, CEO for Publicis Groupe Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. Nichani (pictured right) joined Publicis Groupe in March from FCB Jakarta to run and handle the international businesses as MD. She was also responsible for supporting the CEO on running the group P&L along with the management team.
Nichani began her career in strategic planning at FCB India and has worked across many categories, markets, and consumer segments. For over six years, she worked across the Tata group companies before moving to the client-side leading Tata’s entry into mobile services. Publicis Groupe has announced that effective January 1st 2021, Sony Ninchani (on left) will take over as the CEO for Publicis Groupe Indonesia, reporting into Loris Nold, CEO for Publicis Groupe Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. She takes over from Brian Capel (right) who has decided to leave the Groupe to focus on the next chapter of his personal and professional life.
Ninchani started her career in strategic planning at FCB India and has worked across many categories, markets, and consumer segments. For over 6 years, she worked across the Tata group companies winning several EFFIES and EMVIES, which led her to move to the client-side leading TATA’s entry into mobile services. At Tata’s, she was the head of Brand Marketing for over 7 years which gives her a great understanding of both client ecosystems and the role of agency partners. Ninchani then moved to Indonesia to set up the planning function for FCB in
