GF schools fill open slots

By Doug Barrett Apr 27, 2021 7:50 AM The Grand Forks School Board last night (Monday) filled a couple of open positions heading into the 2021-22 school year. Kelli Tannahill was named the next Principal at J. Nelson Kelly Elementary School.  Tannahill served as principal at Lewis and Clark for the past six years.  She was among four internal candidates interviewed for the job. Dr. Brenda Lewis was hired as assistant superintendent of elementary education.  Lewis serves as Director of Pre-K-12 Curriculum for Montgomery County Public Schools (Maryland) that has an enrollment of 160,000 students.  She will be employed at a salary of $159,000 dollars.
