The mortal remains of three army personnel who perished in the Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter crash near Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor will be brought back to their hometowns on Sunday.
The last rites of Lt Colonel Harjinder Singh, who died in a chopper crash with CDS General Bipin Rawat last week, was performed on Sunday at the Brar Square crematorium in Delhi Cantonment on Sunday.
The personnel, whose remains were positively identified include Gen Bipin Rawat s Staff Officer Lt Col Harjinder Singh, Hav Satpal Rai, Nk Gursewak Singh and Nk Jitendra Kumar.
