The Madisonville Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the shooting death of a Louisville man on Friday night in the 500 block of South Madison Avenue.
About 100 people were found not guilty by reason of insanity in Virginia in the 2022 fiscal year, according to the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services.
Brandon L. Moore, 37, was in an emergency room at the medical facility in the 1900 block of Electric Road when he became "unruly," Salem officials said.
