Aronson, Vukadin Impress In Day One Of ITA Regionals

CARY, N.C. – After garnering two wins, freshmen Stewart Aronson and Noa Vukadin are set to compete in the round of 32 as three other Tigers picked up singles wins after the first day of ITA Regionals.“Glad our guys had the opportunity to compete against some of our rivals today. Lots of good performances and a few others that came down to a point here or there that almost fell our way but didn’t. Our guys are eager to go back to work tomorrow and continue to build good habits,” Head Coach Brandon Wagner said. Newcomer’s Aronson and Vukadin impressed all on the court as they both defeated their opponents in the round of 128 and the round of 64 as they are set to compete in Saturday’s round of 32. Aronson earned his first singles win of the day against South Carolina’s Carter Morgan (6-3,6-4). Clemson Tigers Wrap Up Day One of Southern Intercollegiate Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – The Clemson Tigers completed the first day of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships as four duos earned wins in doubles and three Tigers recorded singles wins in Athens.  “We took a step in the right direction in doubles today which was nice to see after the work the guys have been putting in since the last tournament. Singles we are continuing to learn more about ourselves and what it is going to take in the important moments to get the results they want to get. Tomorrow is another great opportunity for the guys to commit to the process,” Head Coach Brandon Wagner said.  The Tigers earned four victories in doubles as the dynamic duo of Noa Vukadin and Maxwell Smith went undefeated on the day. CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team completed their second day of the Wake Forest Invitational as Matt Pitts, Stewart Aronson and Noa Vukadin all earned singles wins. “Great to see Noa and Stewart step up in the most important moment in their singles matches today and play aggressively. Mesarovic, Smith Earn Singles Wins In Day One Of Wake Forest Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis team started the fall season off strong as freshman Marko Mesarovic and junior Maxwell Smith earned singles wins on the first day of the Wake Forest Invitational. “It was a good first day for the group to see how we measured up against the competition at the beginning of fall. Marko and Max both had a great competitive performance. Looking forward to tomorrow’s challenge and to see if our guys can take a positive step in the right direction and implement what we are striving for,” Head Coach Brandon Wagner said. In his first career singles win in a Tiger uniform, Mesarovic was able to take down Texas Tech’s Lorenzo Esquici in two quick sets (6-3, 6-4).
