WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) Stratford man who investigators say stabbed two brothers as they played video games in their home has reached a plea deal with the prosecution to avoid a jury trial.
Tuesday afternoon 23-year-old Brandon Noll was in Marathon County Circuit Court for a plea hearing. This is the second time Noll has been scheduled for a plea hearing. The original plea hearing date in April was moved to May after logistical issues with Noll’s transportation from the Columbia Correctional Institute in Portage to the Marathon County Courthouse in Wausau.
At the hearing, it was announced that three of the charges against Noll will be dismissed but read in and he has pleaded guilty to the remaining two charges. The guilty pleas were entered for two charges of 1st-degree intentional homicide. The charges dismissed but read in include driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent and using a vehicle to flee or elude an officer.
