that was president trump s big announcement. i feel like we should probably put the breaking news banner up, shouldn t we? what happened there? absolutely nothing. it s amazing because this is the symbolism over substance argument we heard all in the obama administration. yeah. this whole speech was about symbolism over substance. if you throw out the red carpet and throw me a big parade and i ll call it a great success, but he didn t come back really with any measurable achievements. and i m getting pushback from the white house that says before the break about ivanka trump s efforts to expand the child care tax credit and i m pointing it out, but i m not feeling it. i mean, like you ve said in the breaks, i ll have you say it on the air, peggy, it s like she was fighting really hard for, who wouldn t want it? exactly. it s a branding thing. it was a very popular issue especially among republicans who want to stand very firmly for we want to help you as you bring up fami
and this group, i can t even call them pro-life as much as they seem to be pro birth. they re fine with women having babies. they don t really care about any of the health issues or anything like planning these pregnancies or taking care of people after that. it s just it was appalling to look at. but i think the visual of the all older white predominantly white men is deliberate. he has done this with his executive orders. he wants his base supporters to see this is a white supremacist administration. and he wants them to see this leadership. women are not involved. people of color are not involved. and i think this is a very clear it s a branding thing. and it s him and sort of his ilk. but also as far as the pro-life piece, there is no such thing as pro-life. there is either pro-choice and antichoice. and all these these are the same people who are rushing to execute the prisoners in arkansas last week. so how is that pro-life?
