All students, age 12 and up, can receive the vaccine. Students can pre-register at sccoe.link/studentvax. Santa Cruz schools to mandate masks, offer vaccines to students 12+

Ten school districts in Santa Cruz County are ready to reopen campuses for in-person learning for almost 40,000 children.Indoor masking is one of the keys to keeping everyone safe from the delta variant and there are some other safety measures that are implemented.Kristina Quilici has two children in the Santa Cruz City School District. One is in elementary school the other attends middle school. I m hoping it to be as close to back to normal as possible for the kids and hopefully we won t get any creepy outbreaks, Quilici said. The 10 school districts in Santa Cruz County and seven private schools are ready to reopen campuses for in-person learning to 47,000 children.The mandatory indoor mask rule will continue to be part of the new normal for K-12th graders.COVID-19 testing will be available on all campuses and cleaning and disinfecting will be done daily.
