The city of san jose is under a local weather emergency. 14,000 people have been told to evacuate living there along or near the coyote creek. Another 36,000 people advised to flee their homes as a precaution. Standing water closed the closure of 101 near 880. Or near 280 680 split. All of this because of recent rains and the overflow from the Anderson Reservoir that have caused coyote creek to swell up and crest at historic levels. This is the area were talking about. The orange section on the left hand side of the screen is the area under evacuation advisory. It includes Coyote Creek North of 280 all the way south of 237.
