Winds nw 48 mph a terrifying accident overnight. A metro employee rescued after falling 30 feet down a shaft near the North Bethesda metro station. It happened around 130 this morning on wisconsin avenue near elm street. The maintenance injured his leg. Rescue crews were able to get him out safely after about 45 minutes and transported him to the hospital. Right now the workers condition is unknown. Also breaking right now repars complete afer a water main break put a a dc hospital under a minidisaster alert overnight in takoma park. The break was first reported around nine last night, and teams worked all night trying to finish up repairs. Those repairs completed within the past 10 minutes. They are looking at Surveillance Video from the businesses to determine that. They are also looking at what happened the night before. In the last ten minutes, i have been able to review an incident report from this alleged exchange between the girl that was in the car with her father and nate mckinnon. The allegation is that mckinnon pointed a rifle similar to the one found here at the girl. Hit her in the face with it and that there was a shot fired.
