Reporter good afternoon Boston Police investigating a shooting of one of their own. An officer shot in v in the leg about 10 30 this morning. A very active crime scene, as you the see. Boston police have fanned out throughout the neighborhood, trying to find the suspect who shot the officer and they succeeded. The shooting happened about 10 30 this morning. On Mount Bowdoin terrace. Right near bowdoin avenue. Adjacent to bowdoin avenue. And not too far from geneva avenue where the suspect was arrested a short time after the shooting. Over the south coast right now. Getting reports of pea size male and potential of flooding along 195 looking toward new bedford. But boston light and patchy rain we were expecting.
