Lindsay Trust, Herbert and Esther Atkinson Fund of the Foundation for MetroWest, Hopkinton Country Club Charitable Foundation, Natick Education Foundation Inc. and Rotary Club Of Natick Inc. Accepting donations at Roche Bros NSC is accepting nonperishable food donations at Roche Bros in Natick! Due to COVID restrictions, only new items purchased from the store will be accepted. Each month, NSC will pick a different food item particularly in need. This month NSC is requesting donations of canned fruit. (No fresh or frozen fruit please!) You can find the donation bin at the front of the store by the Natick Trash Bags and Red Box machine.

Community Content Thank you to the following individuals and organizations: • In honor of Justin Bailey, the Natick High School hockey team hosted a food drive and fundraiser. Each year, several seniors plan and execute the fundraiser to honor Justin’s memory. This year, the NHS hockey team picked up food donations at 65 Natick homes to bring to the pantry totaling almost 3,000 pounds of food! • In honor of MLK Day, the Natick Democratic Town Committee sponsored a National Day of Service food drive. They collected almost 1,000 pounds of food. A special thank you to NDTC members Neil Glickman, Karen Schlosberg, Bob Awkward, Julie Gordon, Craig Bystrynski and Heidi Larson, and Carol Gloff for volunteering.

Community Content Can you spot the NSC Van? We are excited to announce that the Natick Service Council van, gifted to us by the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority, is ready to hit the road! Through the generosity of our community partners, the Foundation for MetroWest and the MetroWest Health Foundation, and Dan and Jerry Hartwell, the van has been converted to a mobile food pantry. NSC will be able to collect and distribute food throughout the community with more accessibility than ever before. Joan H. Brack Career Development Center Good hiring news!
