As you can see behind me, crews are still on kennon drive, as they have been all day, working to repair multiple power poles and multiple power lines. Were pretty lucky. Id say were lucky. Lucky because the storm couldve been much worse. Around 750 people in danville lost power as a result of yesterdays storm, but now only about 150 are still without power. Jerone mabe engineerin g technician if it had kept raining and the temperature had staid around freezing, 31 to 32 degrees, we wouldve had a lot more people out. The city says the biggest concentration of outages came this morning when around 500 people lost power due to a problem at the piney forest substation. Utilities worker are hoping to have everyones power restored before the end of today.
