Our clients perspective is that if the university had taken action on that first report he may not have been on campus, he may not have ever met our other client, and she may not have been attacked. You know the hashtag no means no, actually like spread around campus, twitter, social media, all of that, people really started having discussing like conversations about that on campus. One of those women who spoke out on twitter says the dean of Student Affairs at Howard University told her, quote, you embarrased your family by doing that. Another woman suing the school claims her attacker was a Campus Police officer who sexually and physically assaulted her. All five women claim their cases were investigated slowly, if at all. Lawsuit state the school didnt provide appropriate counselling or accommodations to extends School Deadlines after they were attacked. They have experienced depression, theyve been suicidal, and they express those things to the university, and still the university
[cheers and applause] a very special person today, this person is known for many things, hes been described as bold, handon, risktaking, and decisive, and indeed, these are qualities we would expect in our leadership. However, this person is no stranger to innovation. In fact, he served as the ceo, as the chairman of his own startup. Not bad, huh . All right. And this person also has a longstanding commitment to improving quality by diffusing best practices across the entire organization, and, in fact, we would not be here without his direct involvement and support. Now, you may be forgiven for thinking that im talking about myself. This is really about how changes in Social Security affect two things behavior and consumption. A variety of changes. Something has to be
