Salt Lake City Police chief mike brown today confirmed this investigation is far from over. No arrests have been made. However, the owner of the residence where we served the warrant last night is a person of interest. Its still a missing persons its a missing persons investigation. Harris, they would not identify this person of interest publicly by name but they say that he is a Salt Lake City homeowner who gave away a mattress and a boxspring last week and obviously police are letting us know that these could be potential key pieces of evidence in mackenzie luecks disappearance. This picture of the mattress came to police as 1 of hundreds of tips they have been following up on since i got this case a week ago today. It isnt clear if the homeowners sold it or give it away, but police are asking whoever picked it up to call them so they can analyze it and run it through forensic testing.
