Weather permitting, Highland Hills Golf Course, Boomerang Links Golf Course, Centennial Pool, and Discovery Bay Waterpark will be open on a regular schedule.
"As it's designed, it's meant to be communal and informal," Marcus Garvey Cultural Center Director janine weaver-douglas said. "It's about establishing a tradition. We're not looking to changes. We're trying to go deeper. We want to add to the opportunity for engagement."
The city will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday at Linn Grove Cemetery, 1700 Cedar Ave. The ceremony will be held rain or shine and will last for about an hour.
