Captures the shooting. Reporter this shooting took place at 35th and downing in denver about a year ago. It was in broad daylight between rival gangs. [ technical difficulties ] aman in the sleeveless shirt a man in a sleeveless shirt joins and there are two children nearby. The man with the sleeveless shirt has a hand tucked away in and starts firing. The gunman ma into a car wash bay. Another camera picks up the scene in which mayfield and a man run to their car as shots are being fired. The man on the drivers side appears to have been struck. They drive to Denver Health Medical Center where that man died mayfield was sentenced to 57 months in prison for being a felon in possession of ammunition pretty pled guilty to the crime back in june. But it is out there in the bay. We dont know yet if its some sort of oil or gas spill or if its necessarily related to that noxious odor that sickened a lot of people here in vallejo last night. This is the mysterious sheen in the waters of the San Pablo Bay its a mile long by 40 yards wide. Thousands of people had to shelter in place last night when a strong gas odor enveloped vallejo. What if this stuff is really toxic and we find out later that its going to affect us . Reporter around 1,000 calls came into 911 dispatch starting just after 7 p. M. Call the police and they told me to evacuate the city or go into shelter. Reporter hundreds of people went to the hospital complaining of nausea and trouble breathing. Smell was horrible. Reporter at around the same time the smell was reported, a ferry spotted ashen in the water stretching from San Pablo Bay to the carquinez strait. Gathered at new spirit revival this morning to attend what they are calling the pastors meeting. The meeting was hosted by dr. Daryl scott, pastor of the church and one who endorsed trump early on. After introductions from his Vice President ial candidate, indiana governor mike pence, and a few others including don king, trump addressed those in attendance talking about the African American community, recent police shootings, poverty and education. Trump has been support from black voters all over the country. Theres perhaps no action our leaders can take that would do more to heal and i mean heal our country. And support our people. Than to provide a greater platform, stronger, greater, to the black churches and church sia after the meeting antitrump protesters gathered across the street from the church to voice their concerns.
