SAN DIEGO Visiting the car in which two notoriousDepression-era gangsters met their bloody end may not be a typicalholiday outing, but time is running out if you want to see Bonnieand Clyde’s death car during its brief spin through town.
The bullet-riddled 1934 Ford V-8 is part of the new “Gangsters,Glamour and Glory” at the San Diego Air & Space Museum. Theexhibit, which runs through Feb. 2, showcases some of the mostfamous vehicles and American celebrities of the 1930s, includingmementos from the Hindenburg zeppelin and a reproduction of a 1930sGee Bee R-1Super Sportster racing plane. There are also radiobroadcasts, Hollywood film clips and personal items belonging tohumorist Will Rogers (who died in a 1935 plane crash) and pilotAmelia Earhart (who disappeared during a trans-global plane flightin 1937).
