The application, for the Marylands site, in Cowfold Road, Bolney, was given the nod at a meeting of the planning committee on Thursday (April 15). A report to the committee said the site would provide economic and social benefits to the area, bringing jobs during and after its construction. This was borne out when the meeting was told that a Sussex-based business was already lined up to move into two of the units. Marylands Nursery site, Bolney Applicant Robin Barton said: “We have a development here that has the capacity to deliver on what is most needed in the current climate – jobs and investment.”
