9yearold jordan aumgren was murdered at his home allegedly by his older brothers 18yearold friend. Investigators are still searching for a motive. Across nepals capital, kathmandu, the scene is utter devastation. Piles of rubble bodies and shellshocked survivors too afraid to go back indoors. The sheer magnitude of the power of this earthquake can best be seen in these before and after photos of kathmandus Landmark Mission tower. The ninestory tower was built in 1832 and these pictures show part of the old royal palace. These were taken an hour apart before and after that earthquake.
