The hunt is on for a vaccine as eligibility opens up

More Minnesotans are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, as the state has said those with high-risk or some chronic conditions, along with a longer list of essential workers, can now get the vaccine. Depending on vaccine availability, vaccines can be found at health care providers, public health departments and local pharmacies.

Saturday night crash injures Hector man

STEWART Alcohol may have been a factor in a one-vehicle crash late Saturday night in McLeod County that injured a Hector man.
The accident was reported at 11:10 p.m. on U.S. Highway 212 near Stewart.
According to the State Patrol, Grant Daniel Youngkrantz, 21, of Hector, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram west on Highway 212 when the vehicle went off the road and rolled.
Youngkrantz was taken to the Olivia Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
