Saturday night crash injures Hector man
Alcohol was detected in the 21-year-old driver of a vehicle that crashed Saturday night in McLeod County. The driver was injured but a passenger was not. 10:12 am, Mar. 7, 2021 ×
STEWART Alcohol may have been a factor in a one-vehicle crash late Saturday night in McLeod County that injured a Hector man.
The accident was reported at 11:10 p.m. on U.S. Highway 212 near Stewart.
According to the State Patrol, Grant Daniel Youngkrantz, 21, of Hector, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram west on Highway 212 when the vehicle went off the road and rolled.
Youngkrantz was taken to the Olivia Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
