The Boise State Department of Theatre, Film and Creative Writing has announced the second show of the 2022-2023 production season, “Afflicted: Daughters of Salem.”<br/><br/>Written by Laurie Brooks and directed by Boise State alum Jaime Nebeker, “Afflicted: Daughters of Salem” tells the story of the Salem accusers and the events that led up to the infamous Salem witch trials. This origin story examines how these teenage girls became accusers and caused 20 people to be put to death for witching.<br/><br/>Artwork for the season’s posters was designed by Erin Cunningham from the Boise State Department of Art, Design and Visual Studies. In addition, prints benefiting the TFCW Scholarship Fund will be available at the performances.
