The statue, which depicts a soldier or army scout, remembers the 131 soldiers of the Highland Light Infantry who died in the Second Boer War between 1899 and 1902. The statue in Glasgow s Kelvingrove Park was sprayed with red graffiti with apparent anti-police slogans   Jim Watson, of Friends of Dennistoun War Memorial, said: I m lost for words yet again.
