The town of Manchester is planning a major makeover on Main Street. Over the last decade, the area has gone through a revitalization, and the town wants to take.
“There’s still more that we have to continue to work on but . we could potentially have a really great spring and summer," said Scott Dolch, the executive director of the Connecticut Restaurant Assocation.

And due to a number of COVID-related factors, those wings are costing more this year.
“A year ago, right about now, the price was 70 bucks for a 40-pound case. This week, I paid 115 bucks for a case,” said Bob Sulick, owner of Manchester chicken-wing mecca Mulberry Street. “After Thanksgiving, prices took a rocket ship to the moon and then stayed there.”
Nikki Vinci, spokeswoman for J. Timothy’s Taverne, famous for its twice-fried “dirty wings,” said wings have been on higher than normal demand, with steadily rising prices, throughout the health crisis.
