Android emulator BlueStacks 5 is officially out of beta
This new version of the Android emulator for PCs is faster and more stable than BS4.
BlueStacks 5 has exited the beta stage and is now ready for its stable launch.
The free Android emulator allows you to play mobile games on your PC with a keyboard, mouse, or game controller.
Unfortunately, you’re still locked to Android 7 Nougat, although this suite should be faster and more stable than BlueStacks 4.
When it comes to emulating Android on a PC, few software suites can compete with BlueStacks. The software allows you to install mobile games on your PC that you would normally find on the Google Play Store. What’s more, you can use different types of controls including a keyboard/mouse combo if touch controls just aren’t your thing.

The Android emulation software has been around for sometime now and they haven t had an upgrade for a good two plus years now. BlueStacks 4 came out in 2018 and now, more than two years later they ve finally come out with BlueStacks 5. So what have they changed? We got a chance to take the beta version of the new BS5 on a test drive, here s what we know.
BlueStacks 5 – On the surface
BlueStacks, the world s largest Android gaming platform for PCs and Macs, is bullish on India and with over 2 million games across numerous developers, the company is revolutionising the way Android gaming is taking shape in the country, a top executive said on Monday. BlueStacks has over 500 million users globally across more than 200 locations. India is an extremely large mobile gaming market for us. Last year, the pandemic drove a surge of gamers across the world, including India, which saw a near 100 per cent jump in user base, Rosen Sharma, CEO BlueStacks, told IANS in an interview. A typical BlueStacks user is spending an average of 5 hours playing mobile games every day.
