Target Issues Recall of Over 400,000 Infant Rompers and Swimsuits

Target has recalled about 480,000 infant rompers and swimsuits due to possible laceration, choking, or pinching hazards. The items being recalled are about 299,000 Cloud Island infant rompers and about 181,000 Cat & Jack Infant-Toddler One-Piece Rashguard Swimsuits.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Cloud Island infant rompers being recalled include the following in sizes newborn to 12M:
Cloud Island Waterfront Baby Boutique Romper, Cloud Island Little Peanut and True Navy Rompers, Cloud Island Little Wildflower and Joyful Mint Rompers, Cloud Island Oh Honeybee and Pink Rompers, and Cloud Island Floral Fields and Mint Rompers

Target recalls Cat & Jack Infant-Toddler girl s one-piece Rashguard Swimsuits due to the snaps can break or detach from the suits, posing choking and laceration hazards to children.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled one-piece Rashguard swimsuits away from children and return them to any Target Store for a full refund. Consumers that purchased the one-piece Rashguard swimsuit on Target.com can contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the swimsuit.
Similar concerns for breaking or detaching snaps led Target to also recall Cat & Jack Infant-Toddler One-Piece Rashguard Swimsuits. The retailer has received 27 reports of the snaps breaking or detaching, including one report of a laceration, according to the recall notice.
The swimsuit recall includes “Summer Blue Lemon,” “Coral Icon Story Hawaiian,” and “Moxie Peach Lemon” one-piece swimsuits in sizes 12M to 5T, according to the recall. They were sold in Target stores nationwide and online at from December 2019 through October 2020 for about $15.
Recalled product item numbers, found on the white tag inside of the suit, include: 328-04-0574, 328-04-0575, 328-04-0576, 328-04-0577, 328-04-0578, 328-04-0579, 328-04-0628, 328-04-0629, 328-04-0630, 328-04-0631, 328-04-0632, 328-04-0633, 328-04-0664, 328-04-0665, 328-04-0666, 328-04-0667, 328-04-0668 and 328-04-0669
