STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Robert Funaro, who played Eugene Pontecorvo on “The Sopranos,” says there is nothing better than a home-cooked meal, so the Staten Island actor is teaching people some of his family’s classic recipes.
Funaro, who hails from New Dorp, has partnered with ChefsFeed and Andrew Jedlicka, founder and CEO of the Andrew Frank Group, for a series of virtual cooking classes that give viewers step-by-step instructions on how to create Italian recipes passed down from Funaro’s mother.
The 62-year-actor, in the midst of a pandemic-forced career break, is tending to his 90-year-old mother Anna in her Staten Island home while sharing some of her classic Italian recipes.
