FARMINGTON - At the RSU 9 Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday night, board members discussed the fundraising plan for the Mt. Blue High School Competition Field expenses. The Mt. Blue All Sports Boosters (MBASB) Turf Committee has been developing a capital fundraising campaign to replace the grass surface on Caldwell Field with synthetic turf.
Regional School Unit 9 directors also approved a proposal by the club to give naming rights to certain facilities at Caldwell Field at Mt. Blue High School.
The Mt. Blue All-Sports Boosters want to upgrade the current field with artificial turf, reducing potential injury and providing more access all year round.
