Apr 17, 2021 Arlene Superko, 96, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She was born in Nanticoke, PA, to parents Rose (Burkett) and Edward Superko. Arlene was predeceased by her sister, Alma Pearce; brothers, Alfred, Robert and Alexander; and lifelong friend, Ruth Hawkins. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. After graduation from Bloomsburg State College. Arlene obtained graduate degrees from Columbia University and Syracuse University. During her career she taught in Auburn, NY and was a guidance counselor at Bethlehem High School in Delmar, NY and Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District in Parish, NY, retiring in August 2000 after 55 years in education.
