Arkansas Jacob Skov Olesen defeated Tom Fischer of Ole Miss on the first extra hole of their match, lifting the Razorbacks to a 3-and-2 victory over the Rebels at the third annual SEC Match Play on Wednesday.
The match between #27 Arkansas and #24 Ole Miss at the third annual SEC Match Play, hosted by Jerry Pate, was tied at 2-2 through four matches and the fifth and deciding match was tied after 18 holes. It was Razorback Jacob Skov Olesen who pulled out the win in an extra hole to lift Arkansas to a 3-2 victory over the Rebels.
Arkansas slipped one spot and finished 12th (841 / +1) after 54 holes of stroke play at the SEC Match Play, hosted by Jerry Pate at Old Overton Club. The event will conclude Tuesday with Arkansas facing Kentucky in one round of match play.
