A white Police Officer is in custody and has been charged with murder in the shooting death of a black man who had been stopped fair traffic violation. We are told the victim apparently was unarmed. The instent was caught on video and Michelle Miller has the latest details. Reporter scott, the video surfaced this afternoon and apparently shows a white Police Officer shooting a black suspect in the back. The officer, michael slayinger, says the man was stopped for a broken taillight, and according to the officer the man took his stun gun but the video appears to show a different story. gunshots the Police Officer apparently shot at the man a total of eight times as the man ran away. According to the mayor of North Charleston, the Police Officer is in custody and is being charged with murder. Well have more on the story as it developed scott. The real system of tracking how much water gets used is just completely broken right now. Reporter begi with the Natural Resources Defense Council is among those concerned that the state only collects water use records from senior water rights holders every three years. The concern is not everyone had the same incentive to conserve water. When you have a senior water right you may not have to do what the juniors do. The mayor of winstonsalem, income nbc said she was found unresponsive in her home this morning. She had been battling Health Problems. She canceled an appearance a couple of days ago at a luncheon where she was to be honored by mlb. Her agent confirmed she passed away in her sleep this morning.
