And there are things that we can do that benefit our rate payers more if we Work Together as opposed to separately. The plan is in the early stages, the agencies are also looking into a Long Term Plan toward creating a large scale desalination plant. And councilwoman shaft says almost 200 of them are off duty because of training or disability. Shaaf says current mayor is not doing enough to avoid attrition. Part of the reason were in the trouble were in is the administration was unrealistic in its projections both of how many new officers would be produced by their Training Academy but also how many officers were retiring each month. But officials in san bruno where a deadly explosion killed eight people in 2010 continued to cast doubt on whether that Pipeline System is indeed safe. The utility says an Engineering Group based in england called Lloyds Register conducted a review of pg es 7,000 miles of pipeline and found the system to be among the safest in the u. S. My fear as a parent is my kids will be affected because of the class sizes being too big. Reporter it is one of the 10 santa clara and san mateo districts seeking financial help. Cambrien is a victim of its own success and popularity. The school grew 10 in the past year and except to add everyone more by 2022. They had to Start Building three more classrooms without knowing how it would pay for it all. The attitude was we need a place to put children. There was no other option. The students are coming were excited to have them but we needed the classroom space for them. Reporter the grant will paid for the expansion. But the goal is to open a closed school. What many people dont realize is the states local control funding formula requires classroom sizes to be at 24 students or less. If we dont do that we risk losing money from the state for our district thats about 1 million in funding that would be at risk to lose. Reporter now all of the measures are being opposed by the groups silican valley taxpayers which have publicly criticized such taxing saying the district is not using the funds effectively. Surfers and conservation groups went to the capital to speak against limiting access to Martins Beach near halfmoon bay. There are a few degrees cooler, we had mid90s inland. Still hot as we head out toward sacramento, you still have the low 90s but right around the bay look at the highs. Thats a function of that strong on shore flow. So 71 in hayward, 77 in fremont. 78 in redwood city. You get the idea. A little cooler. Stays that way again tomorrow because of this low pressure center. As it moves over the top of us over the weekend its going to kind of linger right through this week and over the weekend and thats going to keep us in this same pattern. Definitely not cold. Its not going to rain its just going to get a little breezy in the afternoons and were going to see mostly clear skies at the coast because of the winds. Were going to see temperatures just kind of hoverrering in the mid80s in the warm spots. 70s for the rest of us. Pretty nice weather over all. The forecast, the computer model is going to lay this for us. The computer model shows us the fog. You go through the day tomorrow, you see daytime highs 82 in clear lake, 78 in richmond. Those are forecasts highs, theyre not going to go 89 but theyre going to be in the mid 80s. Temperatures just like today. Slightly cooler way inland. 82 in gilroy. Along the coast not anticipating any fog. The strong winds are going to continue to keep it going. Also with that low coming in closer it releases the inversion. So the fog doesnt have as easy an opportunity reforming. With the weekend always in view, friday and saturday temperatures drop off a little bit. Especially on saturday but just subtle changes.
