SRINAGAR: Doctors at SKIMS have detected the first post-Covid19 case having a black fungus infection. He is still under investigation. The patient is a resident of Udhampur and is suffering from diabetes. The Hospital administration has confirmed the detection of the case.

SRINAGAR: Ever since the Jammu and Kashmir administration notified Mucormycosis (Black Fungus) under the Epidemic Diseases Act, as many as 18 cases have been confirmed. Of them, four persons have already died, media reports said.
SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir has so far reported eight suspected mucormycosis (black fungus) cases while one more suspected person has died so far, officials told local news gatherer GNS on Wednesday. The disease is nothing new and existed already.
