On 01/26/2021, an Officer responded to the 23400 block of Windy Ct in reference to a past burglary that occurred at the 32700 block of Ash Ave SE. It was determined that a burglary did take place and there was a theft from the home.
On Wednesday, 01/27/2021, Officers were dispatched to the 31500 block of Lake Sawyer RD regarding a motor vehicle theft report from the parking lot of the trail head. Owner advised he left the keys in the vehicle when he left to go on a hike and when he returned, the vehicle was gone. There are no suspects at this time. Vehicle information was given to surrounding agencies.
On 12/22/2020, Officers located a tree down in the 31600 block of Black Diamond Ravensdale RD SE. The tree was blocking both the east and west bound lanes of traffic. King County Public Works as well as PSE was notified. King County Public Works and KCSO arrived and took over the scene. Black Diamond officers cleared the scene without incident.
On 12/22/2020, an Officer responded to a signal Malfunction at the 21600 block of SE 288th St. Investigation revealed that a vehicle crashed into a stop sign and fled the scene. There are no suspects or witnesses and the sign was replaced by Public Works.
On 11/30/2020, Officers were dispatched to the 32600 block of 3rd AVE in regard to a recklessly driven vehicle. Officers were able to catch up to the vehicles involved in the 28000 block of SR 169, and after contacting the drivers, determined that no crime had occurred.
On 12/03/2020, officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a construction trailer near the 22900 block of SE Dogwood ST. No subjects were located in the area. Upon investigation, it was found that the trailer was unsecured. The trailer was cleared and secured by officers and they cleared the call without incident.
On 12/04/2020, Officers were dispatched to the 30400 block of Kummer AVE in reference to a suspicious vehicle and subjects walking around the neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers located and detained the subjects. After not being able to determine if any crime had occurred, the subjects were released. On 11/23/2020, Officers stopped a vehicle in the 28800 block of SR 169 after a Washington State Department of Licensing Records check showed the registered owner had a license status of Suspended in the 3rd Degree. The driver was cited and released at the scene
On 11/24/2020, at 1341 hours, the Black Diamond Police Department was dispatched to a fraud call at the 32700 block of Stuart Ave SE. Contact was made with the complainant who advised that today she received a suspicious call from a person who claimed to be with the Sheriff’s Office. This person advised the complainant that they needed to speak with her regarding suspicious activity with her social security number. The complainant advised that she did not provide the person with any information and told the person that she was calling the police. There is no additional information.
