Rajkot: Pandemonium broke out at the inauguration of a newly built BJP office in Khambhaliya town of Devbhumi Dwarka when a mob barged into the buildi.
BJP Chief JP Nadda defended the Ram temple consecration, clarifying it wasn t a party event as PM Modi performed the ceremony without BJP leaders. He praised Modi s role, highlighting BJP s commitment since 1989. Nadda emphasized BJP s non-political stance, citing Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar s reverence for Lord Ram. Meanwhile, Congress accused BJP of politicizing the issue, asserting Gandhi s devotion to Lord Ram. Randeep Surjewala condemned BJP s divisive tactics, warning of repercussions.
In a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be in attendance at the match later in the day, Raut said, "There is no need to bring politics into cricket but it is being done in Ahmedabad." "I won t be surprised if we get to hear later, should India win the World Cup, that we lifted the trophy because PM Modi was in attendance. Anything can happen in the country these days," the Rajya Sabha MP claimed.
“BJP, which keeps dreaming about toppling state governments, has now realised that its government at the Centre will be toppled by INDIA very soon. The moment they came to know about our alliance, the BJP camp started shivering with fear,” the chief minister added.
