Amid questions raised by the Congress party over purchase of French fighter aircraft Rafale by the Centre, the Indian Air Force (IAF) on Thursday asserted that âno overpricingâ was done in buying the aircraft and the government had ânegotiated a very goodâ deal.

Former Indian Air Force (IAF) Chief Birender Singh Dhanoa made a telephone call to National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval at 3:45 am on 26 February, 2019 to inform him about the Balakot air-strikes, Hindustan Timesreports.
The call was made on a special RAX number, which is an ultra-secure fixed-line network, and mentioned, âbandar mar gaya.â
This message translated to âthe monkey has been killedâ and it referred to the fact that a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist training camp in Balakot was taken down by Indian fighter jets in an early morning operation.
