First Covid now Bird Flu - Bird of Prey Centre launches fundraiser

It follows new restrictions after confirmed cases of bird flu on the Isle of Wight. Based in Havenstreet, it is home to more than 50 birds, a reptile and insect house, and a Pets Corner. In a statement on Facebook, the attraction, based at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, said: It is with great sadness that we have to announce the closure of the Bird Of Prey Centre until further notice, following the confirmed cases of Bird Flu in a near by town. We are hopeful to come out the other side of these unfortunate events fighting and flying for you all, by March 2021.
