AN ALEXANDRIA woman has scooped the top prize in a photography competition run by the Loch Lomond Shores shopping complex. Last month, the operators of the Balloch facility called on all landscaped and nature-focused amateur photographers to submit a photograph taken at the popular local resort, and with nearly 100 entries the competition has been considered a success. Yunzi Ahmet of Alexandria won the adult competition with a vibrant and colourful image of the area. Yunzi is a future dentistry student and has received a £200 voucher for Loch Lomond leisure to use on water and paddle sports, as well as an annual family season ticket to the The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre.
